Tips to Effectively Manage Remote and Flex Employees
The presentation will provide tips to effectively manage remote (working from home/offsite) employees and how to identify the disadvantages and advantages of flexible work schedules (compressed work days, flexible daily hours).
In 2018, 50% of the workforce was working remotely and 80 to 90% of employees said they would like to work remotely at least part-time.
Managing remote employees can be challenging but the following tips help build trust and create and sustain productivity:
- Setting clear expectations
- Keeping remote employees aligned with mission, vision, values
- Creating a communication strategy
- Using technology to build community
