Topic Overview:
This workshop will provide best practices and guidance for workplace investigations following allegations of misconduct or other inappropriate behavior. The systematic process of investigation, evaluation, documentation, and resolution will be discussed and highlighted by sample scenarios and real-world examples.
Learning Objectives:
- HR competencies include critical evaluation (critical thinking), relationship management (managing internal/external relationships), consultation and communication (constructive feedback).
- HR knowledge includes conflict management, employee relations, understanding individual differences/perceptions, emotional intelligence, privacy concerns, and risk management.
