This presentation will address the impact of the 2020 Presidential election on employment law and different ways employers can grapple with political tension in the workplace.  By of way of background, we will survey the general makeup of 116th Congress as well as the National Labor Relations Board and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.   The legislative agenda and impact on employers under a Trump or Biden Administration will be starkly different.  As such, this presentation will address what employers can anticipate under either administration in 2020.  Against this backdrop, we will focus on what employers can do to address workplace tension leading up the election and thereafter.
